Watch the fishing boats, whales, and jumping rays from your private balcony in this luxurious condo on the white sandy beach of Los Barriles. Relax around the pool, lounge at the swim up bar, enjoy the 24 on site pickle ball courts, visit the small town's several restaurants and shops or eat at one of the two excellent restaurants on the property. You will appreciate the privacy of your end unit, away from the busy hotel and restaurant, with its balcony separated from others. The condo is located inside a guarded, gated property with 24 security for your comfort.
You can also walk to the fully stocked larger grocery store a block away and cook your own meal in the condo's kitchen if you prefer. The full-sized refrigerator will hold all the food you want. Pots, pans, utensils (including new knives), coffee maker, toaster, blender and more are there for you to use. The marble counters are beautiful and easy to clean.
The bathroom is full sized with marble and tiles and a walk-in shower. We have soap and shampoo to get you started and a hair dryer if you need it. There is an outdoor shower at the beach to get the sand off after your refreshing dip in the Sea of Cortez. or a walk on the beach.
There is a smart TV in the cabinet (no cable TV) with free wireless internet provided. There is also wireless internet around the property, chaise lounge chairs around the common area near the pools with umbrellas to ward off the sun if you wish.
The adjoining hotel has other attractions including a day spa (get a massage!), sports fishing - some of the best in the world -a tennis court and can arrange for all sorts of water sports activities. There is a nine hole golf course and the condo comes with putting clubs and balls. Soon the pickle ball center will be complete with more shops, restaurants and massage. For now the center has 24 courts, organized tournaments, a restaurant and plans for expansion.
Nearby is the Vela windsport center where you can take kite surfing, wing foiling and windsurfing lessons and rent gear. They also have a pickleball court. There are other kite and wing foiling centers in town. ATVs can be rented for desert explorations. There are excellent mountain bike trails for experienced riders close by the condo - no bike rack required. Hiking the extensive trail system is easily accessed across the highway.
During less windy months (May-September) there is still plenty to do and explore in town and nearby. Cabo Pulmo to the south is famous for scuba and snorkeling. Punta Pescadaro has an airstrip and is a great spot for brunch after an ATV excursion up the coast. El Triunfo has fantastic restaurants and a mining museum. There is always something to do!t
