The Heartwood House is centrally located in Big Bay in a quiet neighborhood. Relax at home in this peaceful, cozy house or set out on an adventure in the nearby woods and water. This home is perfect for individuals, couples, or families including bikers, skiers or snowmobilers. Public beach access on Lake Independence and Lake Superior is a walk or very short drive away. The 2 bedroom home has ample parking and also includes a large bi-level deck, table & chairs, gas grill and campfire area.
The space
There are two large bedrooms upstairs with a queen bed in each, as well as a queen blow up bed and a twin futon. Most beds have memory foam to make them extra comfy. Seven can sleep comfortably with all beds full. Please note that the one bathroom is downstairs.
The main floor has a spacious living room, large television, sectional couch, two recliners and a work / game table. The kitchen has a large peninsula that seats 6, a TV for game days, a Keurig coffee maker with an assortment of coffee, tea & hot cocoa choices, a big refrigerator and a nice gas range. The large bathroom has a full tub and shower and wonderful heated floors. In the entry, there is room to hang all your gear and even do your own laundry.
Out back, there is a large bi-level deck and fire pit area.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire home, yard and driveway. There is room on each side of the house to park multiple vehicles and snowmobile trailers.
