The knotty pine interior of the home makes it truly a warm and inviting place. This home has two levels and is set up to sleep seven. The main floor has living/ dining room, kitchen, bedroom/ full bath, den w/additional single bed and screened porch. The lower level, which opens onto the lake, has its own living/ game room with fireplace, bedroom with 2 double beds, and laundry with toilet. Full sun can be enjoyed from the sundeck on top of the boathouse and great swimming/ diving from the dock with moorage for 27 'boat under cover and canoes/kayake.
310 Feet of Private Lake Front Retreat: Dawn O'Day sits on the quiet east shore of Lake George in the Adirondack State Park. It has over 310 feet of lake front on about one acre in a private gated residential area called Camp Andrews which borders thousands of acres of 'forever wild' Adirondack Forest Preserve. This waterfront home was originally a summer camp which was rebuilt over 40 years ago to expand the living area and make it into a year round residence. It was named 'Dawn O'Day' because of its great sunrises but it also has the most stunning sunsets on the Lake. It is a perfect place for individuals or families who like privacy while enjoying breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains - all only steps away.

Comfortable Accommodations: The home has beds for 8 guests so our maximum occupancy is 8 guests. The main floor has one bedroom with a queen size bed, dressers, nightstand w/phone and large closet. The bathroom on this floor has a tub and shower. The den that adjoins the living room area has an additional single bed, writing table, dressers and closet and can be closed off for complete privacy.
The lower level bedroom has two double beds with a window that looks on to the Lake. All bedrooms have ample storage for clothing in dressers and there is plenty of closet space.
Utility closets on the main level of the house contain all of the cleaning supplies and equipment that you will need to maintain this self-catering property. An iron and ironing board are also provided. The washer, dryer and toilet are in the laundry room on the lower level. Extra storage is available for toys or other items. Although the house stays comfortable on those hot summer days fans are provided.

There is a television w/cable on this and the lower level. The lower level living area has a stone fireplace and plenty of room for the family to stretch out and relax.
The kitchen on the main floor comes fully equipped with microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster and all of the pots, pans, dishes, glasses and utensils you need to make any meal.
Lower level living room has a floor to ceiling stone fireplace, couch and chairs, stereo, television w/VCR and table with four chairs that can be used for playing games, during art projects or informal meals.
